Wow this Walrus I have a some land for R&R on the weekends in Michigan. I run my gas generator all the time when we are there. Too many trees for solar and not enough wind for a mill. I live in unincorporated township Algonquin. I finally found a company that will rewire a 240V 30AMP well pump to run off of my generator. Every time there is a power outage I don't have water. I own a regular gas generator. I have been running extension cords for my fridge and basic needs. I bought the furnace rewire service and the thru the wall kit. Claude the owner also added a new shut off switch and a plug and play 30amp cord to my well. I had no idea this could be done.This is huge deal for my 75 year old house. The electricians I called all wanted to upgrade my whole house electric and add a transfer switch. Cheapest quote I had was $4,200. I paid $1200 for all 3 services w/ a lifetime warranty. Great service and customer care from this unique business.
